{ About the First Annual President’s Ball }

The First Annual President’s Ball is an invitation-only event to be held on November 15, 2007. It is a dinner that recognizes and celebrates the University’s top donors — individuals, corporations and foundations that have made gifts of more than $100,000 in fiscal year 2007.

The dinner is an annual event planned by the Division of Development and Alumni Relations on behalf of the Board of Trustees. The program includes dinner and dancing at the historic National Building Museum and the induction of new donors into the GW Society. Journalist and GW James Clark Welling Presidential Fellow Marvin Kalb will serve as emcee. President Knapp will deliver welcoming remarks.

Invitations to the First Annual President’s Ball will be mailed to donors in late September.
