GW Annual Fund
During the 2006-2007 fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2007, the GW Annual Fund had its most successful year ever. We raised $4.9 million – an increase of 17 percent over the previous year. Nearly 19,000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends made gifts to GW, expanding the pool of donors 10 percent in just one year!
Gifts to the GW Annual Fund allow the university to extend financial aid to students, attract cutting-edge research, bring top tier faculty to our campus, and add to the vibrant student life experience. Each gift benefits every facet of OUR GW, no matter how large or small, and furthers our standing as one of nation’s and world’s preeminent universities.
Double the Impact of your GW gift!
The Board of Trustees has issued a special alumni annual giving challenge for the next two years. When you make a gift to GW, the Board will double the amount of your support!
The Trustees will match gifts from the following groups:
- Alumni making their first gift to the University
- Alumni joining the Luther Rice Society for the first time (by making a gift of at least $1000; or $250 for alumni who graduated within the last five years)
- Alumni who make gifts in their reunion years in 2008 and 2009
